"Promise I'll come in regularly for my checkups, Swallowbreeze," the tom mewed, dipping his head to the medicine cat as he exited the den. "And I won't go off doing anything too stressful just yet!" He purred as the leaf-fall sun hit his fur, dappling with the rosette spots on his coat. Those patterns had earned him his former name, a name he still cherished, but it was no longer a name suited to his life. He'd returned, changed, alive but with that strange dip into a world that was not quite alive. He bore a new destiny, it seemed, than Acornheart did. And thanks to his father, he would honor that journey and sacrifice.
Cloudbearer stepped into camp, hardly limping at all now, and mewed his greetings to cats he recognized... and many he did not. It would take some time, learning all these new faces and names, but Cloudbearer was a determined tom.
He made his way over to the warrior's den - while he was finally no longer nest-bound, he reasoned he'd need somewhere to sleep when he was done with duties for the day, and it would be better to claim one now rather than later. The tom poked his head into the brush, meowing a greeting.
"Any open spots for a weary warrior to make his nest?" he asked.

OOC: A better intro for Cloudbearer, since he was unconscious the first time around. @SWALLOWBREEZE mention but not required to interact
